The Sloatsburg Public Works Department is coming to a street near you this week as it continues its spring cleaning around the village. For those residents who have called in to the village offices concerning curbside cleaning, the Public Works truck is sweeping the village this week. Updated for Thursday —  Sloatsburg Traffic Bulletin: Crews worked until nearly 9 p.m. Wednesday evening installing steel girders that were lifted into place at the Thruway overpass construction site along Seven Lakes Drive at Washington Street. The 180 foot steel abutment beams were set in place on the new overpass span by construction cranes stationed in the Thruway median, where traffic on the Thruway was slowed periodically during the day by State Police.
