The Sloatsburg Chamber of Commerce invites the whole community to join in the Sloatsburg Keep Rockland Beautiful 2018 Cleanup. Participants can win prizes, earn community hours and help spring clean the village.

The Sloatsburg Chamber will join in to celebrate the Sunday, April 29, Cleanup with an all-day Block Party under the big white tent at Valley Rock Inn, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Sloatsburg Cleanup takes place from 12-3 p.m. and kicks off at the Sloatsburg Municipal Building.

The Chamber will set up at Valley Rock for a free Block Party that features local vendors, a welcome station and other activities. The big white tent Block Party runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Along with local vendors and a refreshment station, the Sloatsburg Chamber will hold a Chili Contest — for $5 the public can taste test the contestants’ secret recipes and cast a vote on the day’s best chili.

The Chili Contest is open for entry to the public. So, if you think you have the best chili around … think of entering into the contest.
