Tuxedo Chamber Mixes It Up At The Junction

Posted on 10 December 2014 by Editor

This past year has seen a few big changes for the Tuxedo business community — the Genting casino proposal, the movement of Tuxedo Farms towards breaking ground and local elections, to name just a few.

mixer2014Through it all the Tuxedo Chamber of Commerce has remained a beacon of information and encouragement for the the business community — which is, after all, made of local residents with businesses both large and small.

Chamber President Bill Sweet and Executive Director Lisa Favia, with helping hands from chamber board members, have been a consistent team building up an energetic local business network.

The evening gets underway at 6 p.m. and only costs $45 at the door — that price will include a limited open bar (select beer and wine) and good things to eat.

The chamber mixer has become a popular event where members, and non-members, hang out and mix it up while celebrating some of the local business achievements — such as hanging on in these tough times.

The Tuxedo Chamber of Commerce Holiday Mixer takes place Thursday, December 11, at 6 p.m. at Tuxedo Junction Inn.  Advance tickets:  Members $30, Non-members $35; Tickets at the door:  Members $40, Non-members $45. Contact Lisa@tuxedoChamber.org for information.
