Suffern Middle School Students Wander Through Washington

The kids are alright – Suffern Middle School 8th graders, that is. The annual trip to the nations capitol is finishing up its last day on Friday, May 15.

Students then traveled back home by bus and were picked up at the Rockland County Community Parking Lot.

From museums to federal courthouses, Suffern students wandered around the nation’s Capitol, taking in the sites and sounds of numerous memorials and attractions while getting an immersion in that particular place we know and love: Washington, D.C.

Ramapo Central’s own bread and butter with bacon Congresswoman Nita Lowey met with the Suffern 8th graders Friday on the Capitol Hill steps.
