Grab a hoodie or long-sleeve shirt and head out to Sunday’s Suffern Street Fair. Expect plenty of blue sky sunshine and cool temperatures in the 60s – relative to warm summer days.

The Suffern Chamber promotes local business and community interaction through its series of Street Fairs, which gather together a variety of vendors selling everything from handmade clothes and jewelry to soaps and salves. The Street Fair will run Sunday, September 14, from 10 a.m. through 5 p.m. and includes food booths, music and entertainment.

If you get out to walk along Lafayette Avenue for the fair, look for dining and drink specials at one of your favorite local restaurants.

Consider the Suffern Street Fair as a weekend welcome to fall weather and the coming cool days.

The Suffern Street Fair is sponsored by the Suffern Chamber of Commerce and takes place Sunday, September 14, 10 a.m. through 5 p.m. The event is free and so is parking in the Suffern Municipal Lot.
