Sloatsburg Library Will Help You Find Your Roots

The second most popular hobby in the U.S. is genealogy, next to the ever utilitarian gardening.

Family TreeThe Sloatsburg Public Library will hold a series of genealogy workshops that will allow patrons to dig in and learn about their family histories, starting with an introductory class on Tuesday, May 12, at 6:30 p.m. at the Library.

Other classes in the genealogy series include a focus on writing your family narrative and how to navigate the internet in search of family information.

The workshop series runs through June 9, and allows for easy sign up by registering online. For additional information, call the Sloatsburg Public Library at 845/753-2001.
