Pine Grove Lakes postponed its annual Summer Beach Party from Saturday to Sunday, August 12, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Held at Mirror Lake, or the lower lake, the party is an annual gathering of family, friends and neighbors of the Sloatsburg neighborhood, sponsored by the Pine Grove Lakes Homeowners Association and PGL Board.

The PGL Board decided to push the event to Sunday due to a wet and rainy weather forecast for Saturday, which includes scattered thunderstorms. The decision was made for safety reasons and to give advance notice of the schedule change to lifeguards and vendors.
