Enjoy the annual Sloatsburg Halloween Parade down Route 17 on Saturday, October 28, at 5 p.m. A costume contest starts at 4 p.m. at the entrance to the Community Fields.

Leaves are turning yellow and an evening chill has returned as Halloween season arrives in full this weekend.

Sloatsburg’s Halloween Parade looks safe on Saturday, October 28. But Sunday may see rain for Suffern’s annual parade down Lafayette Avenue. Stay tuned for updates.

Get in the spirit on Friday evening when Tuxedo hosts Haunted Hallways at George F. Baker High School. For just $10 take a tour of the spooky haunted high school hallways from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Sloatsburg’s annual Halloween Parade gets underway on Saturday, October 28, with a costume contest at 4.m. at the entrance to the Community Fields. The parade takes place promptly at 5 p.m. and winds its way down Route 17 to Seven lakes Drive and then on to Sloatsburg Elementary School.

In Tuxedo even the dogs get in on the action as the Eagle Valley Fire House hosts a Halloween Party, complete with Pets Costume Contest. The festivities start at 5 p.m.
