Get your Instagrams of Harriman State Park up on the wall and clothesline at Base Camp Tuxedo’s first get together.

Part of the a growing initiative to merge the surrounding parkland trails with the local community and economy, Base Camp Tuxedo is the brainchild of MyHarriman‘s Suzy Allman, who has joined with the Tuxedo Chamber of Commerce and NY/NJ Trail Conference for the very first Base Camp Tuxedo “Speakers and Suds.” The event will feature the Trail Conference’s Sona Mason, who will be talking up special trails that wind around and near Tuxedo, NY, while the free craft beer and wine flows from the little kitchen inside the train station.

Base Camp Tuxedo is the first of various events that will promote local trail culture and the many ways its can shape, define and aid the local Tuxedo economy and those of  surrounding communities.

The event is free and open to everyone. Hang with other hikers after spending a day out in Harriman State Park or Sterling Forest.
