Back by popular demand – Sloatsburg Library holds genealogy series

Learn all about Genealogy and where you came from to understand a bit about where you might be going.

Family TreeSloatsburg Public Library will hold another series on the ins and outs of genealogical research this spring as the popular series returns and continues to expand on the topic.

The first program takes place Tuesday, March 8 and will start with the basics of genealogy, then move on from there. The programs are free. Just call the Library to sign up or click the link and sign up.

If you weren’t aware, genealogical research is the second most popular hobby in the U.S. next to gardening.

The Library’s series allows patrons to dig in and learn about their family histories while picking up online research skills.

The workshop series runs through June 9, and allows for easy sign up by registering online. For additional information, call the Sloatsburg Public Library at 845/753-2001.

Sloatsburg Public Library features a series of genealogy workshops that should help most anyone dig up their roots. The series begins on Tuesday, March 8 at 7:00pm with an Introduction to Genealogy and continues with four more workshops through April 12.
