The Tuxedo Performing Arts Group presents an exciting double bill at the end of January to soothe the wintry blues.
The West Point Duo of Bill Owens and Craig Williams will present organ and trumpet pieces that range from Baroque to contemporary during Music for a Winter Afternoon at
The duo will be joined by piano virtuoso Karén Hakobyan, a young pianist making a name for his nuanced interpretations of classical masters. Hakobyan will also premier one of his own compositions.
St. Mary’s Episcopal Church on January, 31. The program begins at 4 p.m. and will be followed with a wine and hors d’oeuvre reception.
Music for a Winter Afternoon is a collaborative effort between TPAG and St. Mary’s and there will be no cost for tickets. Free-will donations will be accepted. Reservations are requested.
