The 22nd annual Ramapo River Watershed Conference takes place on Friday, April 21 at Ramapo College. The 2017 edition of the Watershed Conference has plenty on important water-related issues.
This year the Ramapo River Watershed Conference welcomes the Environmental Assessment Class of Ramapo College which will provide keen insight on development within the Ramapo River Watershed.

Also, Randy Stechert will give a colorful history survey of rattlesnakes in the surrounding Ramapo Mountains. And Eric Wiener will present an interesting report on raptor migration in the Ramapos. Plus, look for the latest news and report on the Pilgrim Pipelines.

Come to this free event and get the latest information on the area dam conditions, environmental remediation and cleanup projects and all the latest issues that impact the watershed in New York and New Jersey.

Ramapo College of New Jersey once again partners for this regional gathering. All conference events take place in the Trustee’s Pavilion at the college.

The conference begins at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, April 21, 2017, with coffee and bagels and a greeting from Ramapo College President Peter Mercer at 10 a.m. The conference ends at 4 p.m. with a reception immediately following.

Please contact GeoffWelch@gmail.com for more  information and reservations. The conference is a free event. We will post the agenda soon at: RamapoRiver.org.
