Say a little sun prayer and bring a lawn chair for the 9th Annual 2018 Highlands Bluegrass Festival at Harmony Hall in Sloatsburg, NY, from 1 p.m. through 6 p.m., Sunday, September 9.

The free event anchors an afternoon of good things in the Village of Sloatsburg, featuring a fine selection of bluegrass and Americana music. Expect craft vendors and delicious food and even a Defiance Brewery beer on tap truck. Banjo extraordinaire Tony Trischka again headlines the festival, and for good reason.

The festival is worth a drive to Sloatsburg, north on Route 17 in western Rockland County on the Great Lawn at Harmony Hall with a nice view of Torne Mountain.

This year’s Bluegrass Festival is co-sponsored by Rockland County, I Love NY and the Town of Ramapo.

Head out to the Highlands on Sunday, September 9, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Jacob-Sloat House/Harmony Hall in Sloatsburg, NY.

Additional Information:
Activities: The festival also features quality local crafts, delicious local foods, children’s amusements, historic displays, Highlands Region environmental displays and information. Dining is also available nearby at Characters, Sushiville, Seven lakes Station, Rhodes Tavern and coming soon the exciting new Valley Rock Inn! All in newly revitalised Sloatsburg, NY.
