The Sloatsburg Fire Department will put on the 2nd Annual Classic Car Show with East Coast Rod & Custom Saturday, June 1, from 10 a.m. 4 p.m. Save the date.

This year’s show will benefit Firefighter Sean Connell, with proceeds from the event going toward Connell’s healthcare costs.

The show is an afternoon of sight and sounds, complete with food and drink vendors, music, and a Rib Contest. Yes, a rib contest and Sean Connell himself just may be the final arbiter of whose ribs are tastier.

The whole afternoon is a cooperative venture between the Sloatsburg Fire Department and East Coast Rod and Custom and the shebang takes place at Sloatsburg Community Field.

Vendor registration takes place between 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. on the day of the show, although no registration is required. All vehicles and motorcylces are welcome.

Vendors spots cost $25. Registration fee per vehicle is $20. Spectators pay $5.

Note: The rain date for the event is the following Saturday, June 8.
