Thanksgiving marks one of the busiest times of year for the local food pantry. And once again, the Boy Scouts from Troop 2146 which serves the Tuxedo and Sloatsburg communities, organized an effort that helped stock the shelves for the Sloatsburg UMC Food Pantry. Continue Reading

Long wooden track Pinewood Derby racing took place at George Grant Mason school in Tuxedo this past Sunday. Scouts from Cub Scout Pack 2146 have been working since December to whittle small wooden cars into speed machines. The payoff was to test them with a run down the  the long track over the weekend. The boys from Troop 46 have been busy.

The Tuxedo/Sloatsburg Boy Scout Troop 46 recently organized a food drive for the Sloatsburg UMC Food Pantry, where troop members gathered for instructions by Food Pantry Director Susan Meyers. The Food Pantry was filled to overflowing with bags of donated goods Troop 46 collected throughout the Woodlands and Hamilton Estates sections of Tuxedo. Continue Reading

After the snows and wind of Nemo passed through Saturday, George Grant Mason school in Tuxedo sprang to life Sunday afternoon for some good old-fashioned car racing.
